About the gold row — read this before using it. The row labelled PAX Gold (PAXG) is not the XAU/USD spot gold price and is not sourced from a bullion market feed. PAXG is a cryptocurrency token whose issuer states each token is backed by one fine troy ounce of London Good Delivery gold. Because it trades on crypto exchanges, its price is set by supply and demand there and can sit at a small premium or discount to spot gold, and it carries issuer, custody and token risks that physical bullion does not. FinSage shows it because it is the closest continuously-priced gold reference available from the free data source this site uses — treat it as an approximate proxy, and check a bullion dealer or exchange quote before acting on a gold price.
